The problem
Around the world, people are under attack for who they love, how they dress, and ultimately for who they are. In too many countries, being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ) means living with daily discrimination. From name-calling and bullying, to being denied a job or appropriate healthcare, to life-threatening violence, the range of unequal treatment faced is extensive and damaging. Corporations can support LGBTQ equality in many ways, including through their non-discrimination policies, benefits provided for LGBTQ workers and families, fostering of an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility efforts
